As arab racing becomes increasingly popular in Europe, one stud continues to take the lead in stallion quality and breeding. Based near Thetford in Norfolk, England, Shadwell Stud's Melton Paddocks complex is home to the world's finest team of arab stallions, with one or two selected to stand at other studs in England each year.

Through the advances made in Artificial Insemination and Shadwell's highly experienced specialists, this formidable team of arab stallions are available to breeders the world over.

AI - making champion stallions available worldwide
Since 1996, our Melton Paddocks AI Unit has been successfully dispatching and exporting chilled semen world-wide. The unit is approved and licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture, and all our staff are fully trained in the techniques of collecting, handling and preparing semen for despatch.

The chilled semen is transported in specially designed Equitainers which are dispatched by courier for delivery the following day, or on the same day if urgently required. The quality of training, the standards of our AI facilities and the excellence of the stallions at stud make Shadwell the preferred choice for leading arab breeders across the globe.
